Heer and Ranjha's story is a poetic tale of tragic romance from the Punjab region of subcontinent (precolonial India). We will start wih meet and greet at 6:30 pm followed by a brief power point telling the tale of Heer & Ranjha. We will talk about the characters, setting and cultural context of this story during the last 40-45 minutes of our meet. We will have Chai tea and finger food/ snacks.
