Join me for a hearty breakfast and experience traditional breakfast from old quarters of Lahore city. i am planning to cook Halwa Puri (crispy fried bread served with sweet semolina pudding), Alu Chanay (spiced chickpeas and potato), Paaye (trotters broth), with Naan bread, and Chai.

Breakfast for Lahories (locals of Lahore) has always been about hearty, slow-cooked meat dishes and rich accompaniments. The whole experience is quite communal and ritualistic. These dishes come with roghni naan—that's rich, buttery flatbread. Lahore's walled city, has breakfast spots that become gathering places in the early morning where locals come to fuel up before their day.
